Overview
Our Quality Management course addresses strategic quality and leadership issues focused on achieving customer satisfaction. You will explore the application of specialised managerial and technological skills to achieve the desired quality at a minimum cost.
In addition, you will examine quality management and other continuous improvement approaches relevant to industry and apply the techniques to all industrial and business sectors from service to manufacturing.
Throughout your studies you will hone the critical problem-based learning skills and transferable skills that will prepare you for employment in a professional position dealing with quality management system development and implementation.
Course structure
A Master degree at KIMT is 1 year (120 credits) and consists of various learning activities:
- Projects – you choose the projects that fit your learning objectives.
- Quality management courses – the solid foundation you need as a quality system manager.
- Basic courses – including strategic management, statistics, interpersonal skills and customer service management.
- External learning activities – Industrial training, courses at other universities, or a foreign exchange program.
What You'll Study
The MSc Individual Project is an independent piece of research based on a topic related to a student’s degree programme. Students are encouraged to focus on a problem confronting industry or a related area. The individual project provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate how the in-depth skills and knowledge they have gained during the taught courses can be used to provide solutions to practical problems. The individual project should contain a degree of original research.

Academic Requirements
- You should normally possess an Honours degree or an equivalent qualification.
- If you possess a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, or a less, but appropriate qualification plus relevant industrial experience may also be considered for entry to the Master program.
English requirements
- This program is taught in English. For applicants whose first language is not English, have to show a minimum English Language proficiency level in order to take entry into the program.
METHOD OF ASSESSMENT
Knowledge, understanding and intellectual skills are assessed through a combination of course assignments and consultancy project report. The weighting for the final overall assessment for each course taken shall be as follows:
- 50% Assignments
- 50% consultancy project report
- Every delivery centers will be advised to take some mandatory written and practical examination to evaluate a learner quality and adaptability.
Programme modality
The program is studied 100% online through the virtual learning platform with tutor support.
You will receive excellent support from the academic team, including your programme manager and your supervisor who will be with you every step of the way.
Duration
The programme is design to be delivered through one academic year.
