The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in legal theory, principles, and practice. This qualification aims to develop students’ understanding of the law within national and international contexts, equipping them with analytical, critical thinking, and research skills essential for legal and regulatory careers.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

1. Interpret and apply legal concepts and frameworks across various fields of law
2. Understand legal processes and institutions both locally and internationally
3. Analyze legal problems and develop reasoned arguments using appropriate legal methods
4. Demonstrate ethical awareness and responsibility in legal practice
5. Conduct independent legal research and present findings effectively

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant English language proficiency
  • Applicants holding a Level 4 and 5 Diploma in Law or a related subject (minimum 240 credits) may be eligible to apply for the LLB Top-Up (final year) directly under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy. All supporting academic documents must be submitted with the application.

The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) consists of 180 credits, including core courses and a final research project. Each subject carries 6 credits, and the capstone project carries 18 credits.

To successfully complete the Bachelor of Laws (LLB), students are expected to:

• Dedicate approximately 15-20 hours per week to coursework, including readings, assignments, and discussions.
• Actively participate in online forums, webinars, and collaborative projects.
• Complete all assignments, exams, and the capstone project within the stipulated deadlines.
• Maintain regular communication with faculty and peers to enhance learning outcomes.
• Exhibit strong self-discipline and time-management skills to balance studies with other commitments.
